Dun Dun… Dun Dun…

Lashed to the top of a flatbed truck in May of 2001, the Great White Shark terrorized the interstates from Jacksonville, Florida to Ocean City, Maryland, where the 4 ton 40 ft mechanical create finally crashed to a frenzied stop in the old wooden building that houses Ripley’s Believe It or Not.

Still trapped two-stories above the boardwalk, his huge head and thrashing tail protruding from gaping holes in the building, the Great White is attracting throngs of passersby to take a closer look inside the world famous museum.

Owner Bill Sims declares: ‘I’m absolutely turning back flips at the number of visitors we’re seeing since the shark has arrived. It’s Christmas every day of the week in Ocean City’.
